Kenneth Campbell Obituary

CAMPBELL KENNETH ALTON CAMPBELL (Age 60) Of Manassas, VA died Sunday, September 19, 2010 at Prince William Hospital. Mr. Campbell had lived most of his life in Alexandria, VA moving to Manassas nine years ago. He was the owner of Campbell''s Bottled Gas Company and started working there in 1962. Mr. Campbell was a proud husband, father and "Pop Pop". He was preceded in death by his parents Oral Braddish Campbell and Mary Margaret Ragen Campbell and by his brother William Campbell. Survivors include his loving wife Vicky M. Campbell; his children, Christine Marie Campbell, Chris McGuin and wife Jana, Kelly Campbell, Shannon Melgreen and husband Justin and Kenneth Colby Campbell; his sister, Diane Ledford and his grandchildren, Landen Melgreen, Jayce Melgreen and Laci Melgreen. The family will receive friends at Pierce Funeral Home, 9609 Center St., Manassas, VA Thursday, September 23, 2010 from 6 to 8 p.m. and where a prayer service will be held 10 a.m. Friday, September 24, 2010. Interment will follow at Stonewall Memory Gardens, Manassas. In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorial contributions be made to Stand Up 2 Cancer.org and go to the Get Involved Link and click on "donate" Condolences may be sent to www.piercefh.com .
