Kenneth I. Lusby, 66 of Vallejo, California passed away peacefully on December 20, 2012 surrounded by his family and friend.
Known to everyone as Ken, he was born in Washington, DC on April 14, 1946 to the late Vincent G. Lusby and Kathryn Lusby. Ken is survived by his wife, Donna; daughter, Leah; step-son, Dale Bost; three grandchildren; brother, Greg Lusby (JoAnn); uncle to Joseph Vincent (Vinnie) and Jeffrey and a host of family and friends. His sister, Kathy Ann preceded him in death in 2008.
Ken was the North American Heavyweight Wrist wrestling Champion and in 1986 was elected to the Wrist wrestling Hall of Fame. Ken was a master carpenter and worked for Truitt and White Lumber Co. in Berkley, Calif. during the last 42 years. Over the years, Ken was involved in the Laborers #8217; Local Union 886 and served in various capacities as Trustee, Delegate, Chief Negotiator, Business Manager, and Sergeant-at-Arms. All who spent time with him will miss his candid conversations, his knowledge and his wisdom. His intense commitment in helping people will always be a lasting memory for those who knew him.The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 10, 2013 until the time of service at 11 a.m. at the George P.
