LYNN KRISTIANSON Obituary

LYNN KRISTIANSON
Lynn Kristianson was the victim of a car accident while riding her bicycle in Anne Arundel County on February 22, 2014. After a complicated recovery she died at her home on June 4, 2015. She is survived by her mother, Phyllis Kristianson, her brother, John Kristianson and her husband, Gordon Meuse. Contributions in Lynn's honor can be sent to R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma, Area of Greatest Need, 110 South Paca St., 9th Floor, Baltimore, MD 21201 or online at University of Maryland Medical System Foundation.A Memorial Service will be held on June 27 at 5:30 p.m. at Arlington Central Library, 1015 N Quincy St., Arlington VA 22201.

I'd always dreamed of joining Lynn's merry band of randonneurs some day. She was strong and staunch and true. She was a friend and mentor to many. She is an inspiration. Long may her gardens bloom.

I didn't know Lynn, but benefited from her dedicated and energetic gardening skills that she so generously contributed to making her South Arlington neighborhood park a neat, tidy and blossoming joy to behold. That she contributed her time to this sometimes grinding task is testimony to a giving and caring spirit, of which the world cannot afford to lose. So very sorry that she left this earth far too soon. My condolences to her friends and family.
