MARIAN S. COWAN
Peacefully on Thursday, August 16, 2012. Preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Claude L. Cowan, Sr. and her beloved siblings. Left to cherish her memory, are her loving children, Carol Bryant (Isaac) and Dr. Claude L. Cowan, Jr. (Faye); grandchildren, Marian Brown (Alman), Carl Alfred II and Claude Alexander Cowan; great-granddaughter, Madison Brown; niece, Toni Baker; nephew, Otis Turner; grandnephew, Kyle Baker; other loving relatives and friends. On Friday, August 24, 2012, a viewing will be held at Northminster Presbyterian Church, 7720 Alaska Ave. and Kalmia Rd. N.W., Washington, DC 20012 from 10 a.m. until the funeral service at 11 a.m. Interment Lincoln Memorial Cemetery, Suitland, MD. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Prevention of Blindness Society of Metropolitan Washington in memory of Marian Cowan and Claude L. Cowan, Sr. Arrangements by McGUIRE.
