Mary Harris Freeman, beloved wife of Morris D. Freeman, Jr., peacefully passed away on November 4, 2012 at her home in Camp Springs, MD surrounded by family. She is survived by her husband, Morris; five children, Deborah E., Marcella M., and Kara D. Freeman, Morrissa Freeman Booze, and Tyrone D. Freeman; son-in-law, Johnny Booze; daughter-in-law, Dawn Warren Freeman; two adored grandchildren, Bailey Elizabeth and Tyler Daniel Freeman; one sister, Joyce A. Redmond (William, Jr); four brothers, Charles R., Sr., Philip R., Sr., Raymond F., and James A. Harris, Sr.; mother-in-law, Thelma F. Boyd; four sisters-in-law, Gracie B. and Leila Harris, Joyce Goines (Howard) and Beverly Freeman-Owen. She was preceded in death by her parents, Anna Ford Harris and John H. Harris, Sr.; brothers, John H. Harris, Jr. (Maggie), and Joseph W. Harris, Sr.(Mary Lowan); and sister, Frances R. Westmoreland (John).
Friends and family will be received at Holy Comforter, St. Cyprian Roman Catholic Church, 1357 East Capitol Street, SE, Washington, DC 20003 on Thursday, November 8, 2012 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday, November 9, 2012 from 10 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Interment Maryland National Memorial Park.
