Talk about life forces! Matthew was one of the most vital people I have ever known, not to speak of, as became apparent later on, one of the most courageous. What a life well-lived.

Matthew gave me his "card" when we first became friends. He identified himself thus: "Poet, Plumber and Philosopher" with an additional service, "Poetic License as Needed." That about sums it up, doesn't it, folks?
