Peacefully and surrounded by his family, our beloved Michael quietly slipped into the arms of God on Memorial Day, May 28, 2012 at the Virginia Hospital Center, Arlington, VA. Loving husband of Petra Morton; devoted father of USMC Lance Corporal Marcel Morton and Brandon Morton of Manassas, VA; beloved son of Audrey Farrar Morton of Centreville, VA. He is also survived by three siblings, Michelle Morton of Los Angeles, CA, Brian Morton and Brenda Morton of Ashburn, VA, and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Wycliffe N. Morton. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 from 10 a.m. until time of service 11 a.m. at Church of the Nativity, 6400 Nativity Lane, Burke, VA 22015.
