MICHAEL SA KWON CHUNG (Age 80)
Of Alexandria, VA passed away on December 26, 2012. He was born in South Korea on April 15, 1932. He worked for the US Army in Vietnam as a Korean civilian in the 60's. He came to America with his family early 70's. He worked as a superintendent for the electrical dept. of Nello L. Teer Co. in the mid-70's during the construction of the Metro Subway system in Arlington, VA. He later had numerous small businesses in Washington, DC and in the Tidewater area. He was a member of the St. Paul Chung Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Kyeong Sun. He is survived by second wife, Chung Bin of Alexandria; son, Chul-Suk of Vienna, VA; daughter, Sue Medford of Alexandria, daughter, Jeannie Ruff of Hong Kong; son, Chung-Chul of Midlothian, VA; daughter, Angie Krens of London and seven grandchildren. Private service for family and friends will be held on December 31, 2012 at 10 a.m. at Fairfax Memorial Funeral Home, 9902 Braddock Rd. Fairfax, VA 22032.
