MURIEL D. KEITH  

Muriel was born in Oakland, CA in 1932. She received a B.A. in English from University of California, Berkeley and a Master's degree from San Francisco State University. She had a long career as a high school English teacher, with most of that career spent teaching at Stone Ridge Country Day School of the Sacred Heart where she shared her love of literature with her many students. Muriel passed away in Potomac, MD, on February 11, 2013 after a long battle with dementia. She was preceded in death by her husband John, and is survived by her son Roald Keith (Leslie), daughter Melissa Kaufman (Michael), and grandchildren Spencer, Sydney, Rebekah and Sarah. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, teacher and friend. Private memorial will be held.
