NARVIE J. LARRY
Funeral services were held on Thursday, August 2, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Hamilton Funeral Chapel, 423 S. James Street, Goldsboro, NC with Elder Timothy L. Dortch officiating. Burial was held at Wayne Memorial Park North with military honors.
Narvie Joseph Larry was born October 7, 1923 to Mattie and Wylie Larry in Seven Springs, NC and passed away July 26, 2012.
He received his education in the elementary schools of Goldsboro and graduated from Dillard High School.
Narvie served his country in the U.S. Army during
World War II. He worked as a security guard. Narvie lived in New York for a number of years and retired in Maryland.
He leaves to mourn his loss, a daughter, Cheryl Ann Larry; cousins, Mary Alice Davis of Goldsboro, NC, Norma Jean Barnes (Cleamon) of Maryland, Shirley Davis (Noveda) of Big Gap, VA, Lula Mitchell (Bill) of Newark, NJ, Margaret Taylor (Edward) of Somerdale, NJ, Alma Davis of Goldsboro, NC, Barbara J. Walker of Jamaica, NY, Walter J. Paris of Chesapeake, VA, Vincent Paris of Lansing, MI, Mary Gillette of LaGrange, NC, Jackie Ross of Manhatten, NY, Vertie Lee Parks of Bronx, NY and a very close friend, William Dawes (Betty) of Laurel, MD and Elouise Vason (Richard), a host of relatives and friends.
