CURTIN NICHOLAS ALOYSIUS CURTIN On Tuesday, August 17, 2010, of Reston, VA, formerly of Chevy Chase, DC. Beloved husband of Erin G. Curtin; son of Joseph N. and Margaret E. Curtin; brother of Karen (Jamie) Grau, Daniel Curtin, Patricia (Tony) Buccheri and Margaret (Roger) Kahl; uncle of Heather (Doug) Sowell, Brett, Kelly, Aileen, Elizabeth, David and Gabrielle. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Thursday 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament, Western Ave. at Quesada St., NW, Washington, DC, on Friday, August 20, at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. I had the pleasure of working with Nick during his last few months at Neiman Marcus in Minneapolis. And though I had not physically seen him several years I still considered him a true friend. He will be missed by many. You will be in our prayers.

Erin I sit here remembering your and Nick's wedding at St. Louis Cathedral a few years ago and while none of could have known the future then--what I celebrate now is the time you had to love each other so passionately and with such grace! I celebrate that you two had in a few short years a love many never experience in a lifetime! Know that I hold you and Nick in my prayers even as God holds you both together in his hand--and in that sense you will always be together! Erin and Nick's family I am so sorry for you loss and my thoughts and prayers go out to you all. i only knew Nick for a short time but he was such a wonderful person. Nick always made everyone feel comfortable and touched everyone that came in contact with. He is a great Angel to have watching over us.
