We are so sorry for the loss of Ambassador Fox. May his memory be a blessing to you. We are also grateful that he shared his experience for future diplomats in his oral history: http://www.adst.org/OH%20TOCs/Fox,%20Richard.toc.pdf

Dick was a gentle and gracious mentor to a whole generation of young black professionals eager for careers in international affairs. His wisdom, quiet humor and optimism helped dozens of us achieve that goals. For that contribution, his stellar career which was an inspiration to all and his personal integrity, he will be greatly missed. May he truly rest in peace.
