Marsha, There are many fond memories of Ronnie, going back to the time when my late husband, Walter (Hawk) and I were introduced to him by Mills, and later, how happy he was the day you two were married. Ronnie was a good and caring person. He will be truly missed by all of us. May God comfort you and the Family

Marie, Sandra, Marsha and children: I was totally dumbfounded to hear about Ronnie's death when a friend asked if I knew him. I am so sorry I didn't find out before the funeral. You all have my sincerest sympathy. I know that you are devastated by your loss, but GOD will be with you in his absence. Interestingly, the friend and I both grew up with Ronnie in different places - her in his childhood neighborhood and me where his grandparents lived. Again, please accept my belated condolences.
Love to all,

Dina & family - Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.
Dina - Who you are as a woman was greatly influenced by the love and care your father showed. May you always hold close to your heart those moments that make you laugh, reflect and act on the wisdom he provided, and know he's with you. My love and prayers go out to you and your family.
Yours in Christ and in Delta,

My heart is heavy hearing of Mr. Swann's passing. The pain of losing a great father is unmeasurable but this I know to be true. The Lord's grace is sufficient and he will definitely see the family through this most difficult time.

Dear Swann Family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Mr. Swann was a great person and my life has been truly enhanced by knowing him. I know it’s been quite some time since the we were at the Swann’s house on the hill for one of our many summer activates, but the memories are still fresh in my head. The swan’s home was where we would gather for basketball, playing pool or just hanging out. Mr. Swann would occasionally join us in a game of basketball and amaze me with his ability to get his shot off over me time after time. Back in the day I thought of myself as a shot blocker, but Mr. Swann shot was one I would seldom block. Mr. Swann was that father I think every kid growing up wanted their father to be a little more like.

I knew Ron back in the late 70's and early 80's when we both worked in the old NAVSEC 6120 group, he in sub structures, me in surface structures, in the old National Center complex in Crystal City, on the 1st floor, adjacent to the Navy Credit Union office. Ron was more of a mentor to me as a junior engineer, and I always remember Ron as an extremely kind, gentle man, who like to smile and laugh alot. It was very infectious on those around him. I don't remember ever seeing him lose his cool. I haven't seen Ron for awhile, but will always consider him a role model for how human beings should treat others. The world could use more Ron Swanns. God bless his soul, and my deepest condolences to his family.
