SAMUEL BELTON GAITHER
Of Washington, DC departed this life on November 15, 2012. Born on February 26, 1923 in Cherryville, NC to the late Reuben and Mattie Johnson Gaither. After being discharged from the Army he attended North Carolina
A&T University and graduated in 1953. He was an active and faithful member of the Springfield Baptist Church prior to his illness. For the past 2½ years he was a resident of the Stoddard Baptist Home. He was preceded in death by his wife Leatha Stanton Gaither of 57 years; four brothers and five sisters. Services will be held at Springfield Baptist Church, 508 P Street NW on Thursday, November 29, 2012. Viewing 10 a.m. until Funeral Services at 11 a.m. Arrangements entrusted to Hall Brothers Funeral Service, 621 Florida Ave. NW.
