SEAN DONALD ROBERTS
Sean Donald Roberts surrounded by love, died at home in Alexandria, Virginia, on June 8,2012 after a long illness. Born in Morristown, New Jersey, he grew up in Arlington. In the 90's Sean was singer and bass guitar player for Thirty Ought Six the popular rock trio out of Portland, Oregon noted for the intensity of their performances. The group released two albums, toured nationally and in the UK. They were part of the 1996 Lollapalooza tour. He is survived by his parents, Lynn and Donald Roberts of Alexandria; his sister Keira Lyman; brother-in-law Frank Lyman; his nephew Thomas Lyman and nieces Aislin and Carys Lyman of Austin, Texas and countless friends and fans. Our lives are forever changed by the passing of his bright light. A celebration of Sean's life will be held at 11 a.m. on July 21 at the Mt. Vernon Unitarian Church, Alexandria, Virginia.
