SHIRLEY KERR KENNARD (Age 87)  
Died from cancer Thursday, September 1, 2016. Architect, sailor and long-time member of the Chesapeake Bristol Club and the Annapolis Chorale. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, H. Hunter Kennard. She is survived by her son, Peter Kennard; daughter, Lisa K. Etienne (Joseph); grandson, Cameron Etienne; one brother, Jack Kerr; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families. A memorial will be held 10:30 a.m., Sunday, September 25, 2016 at Collington-Kendal Life Care Community, 10450 Lottsford Rd., Mitchellville, MD 20721. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the Annapolis Chorale or the Chesapeake Bay Foundation.

My heartfelt sympathies go out to family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise found in 1 Thessalonians 4 : 14 can bring some comfort. Knowing that there is a future for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring.
