Dear Linda, and friends of Sped:

What a very special man, and friend this guy was. That smile. The gentle and thoughtful words. Always the humor. His love of family.
I greatly regret that he died without my knowing it. I would have tried to have been there for him. I was moving to Colorado,(for my grandchildren),when he passed.
Never got to play "Scotch and Soda" for him. All the regrets and "what ifs" of life haunt me today.
My sincere sympathies to Linda and all the family. Will be in touch...Bob

Dr. Hause was an incredible professor. He encouraged me when I needed that something extra to continue on my academic journey. Through his classes he taught us to look deeper and to realize that there was more than what was on the surface. To his family: thank you for sharing this incredible person. My prayers are with you.

Such a high caliber person, we gave so much to his students and made me think outside the box. I was scheduled to have class with him on Tuesday, the day he passed. He is one of my favorite professors of my academic career. We miss you Dr. Hause!!! - Brandon Brereton (a student of his)
