Steve Carroll, lover of Kathleen Carroll, died on September 21, 2011, surrounded by family and friends. He was a poet, an artist, a yogi, a publisher, a printer, a great swimmer, a champion swing dancer, and an award-winning football player. He teamed up with wife, Kathleen; daughter, Rebecca; son and daughter-in-law, Jon Michael and Arlen; and grandchildren, Allison, Juancito, and Mikey. Days before his death, he said: "You're in my heart and my heart isn't going anywhere. It isn't in time. You'll never be alone. You'll find that out." A memorial service will be held on October 1 at 3 p.m. at 6801 6th St. NW.
