Condolences to the Trimble family. Not only was Steve a great Husband, Father, Grandfather, Son, and brother, he was a great friend to me. We had very similar experiences and therefore was able to communicate on a level most couldn't. It was a great honor to have had the opportunity to coach football with him at Bishop O'Connell. You are missed daily. RIP my friend.

Dear Gretchen and family, I don't know if you'll remember me , but you and Steve had Christmas dinner with me and my family years ago when Steve played with Denver. We so enjoyed having you with us. My brother called me from Cumberland and told me of Steve's death. Words cannot tell you how sad it makes me . I lost my youngest son Kevin to Cancer 4 1/2 years ago and I know that Kevin will find Steve up there in heaven. He respected him so much when he stayed with us. I can still see him running track at Fort Hill and scoring touchdowns. He was a fine man and will be so sorely missed by so many. My love and prayers are with you and your boys. God Bless and keep you all. Sincerely, Shirley Hanawalt, [email protected], Littleton, Col,

Steve Trimble was a good, decent man who loved his children deeply. I remember him being on the soccer fields with his son Justin, wondering why he was not playing football... Gretchen you, Justin and all of your family are in my prayers. Steve will continue to watch over you all with our blessed Mother and her Son by his side, cheering you all on. God Bless you all. Much love,
Ann and Erik Whitener
