SCHUCK SUZANNE ZIBELLI SCHUCK (Age 49) Of Bethesda, MD died July 27, 2009, after a 20-month battle with stomach cancer. She leaves behind her husband, Gregory; daughter, Amanda, and son, Kyle. She is also survived by parents, Ronald and Mary Zibelli of Boca Raton, FL, and Nantucket, MA; brothers, Ronald, Jr. (wife Sue), of Bernardsville, NJ, David, Alexandria, VA; sister, Allison, Philadelphia, PA; mother-in-law, Susan Schuck, and brothers-in-law, Stephen, Christopher, and Daniel Schuck, as well as many other relatives. Suzanne was born February 25, 1960, in Washington, DC, and grew up in Rochester, NY, and Wilton, CT. She graduated from Georgetown University with a degree in Nursing, and from George Washington University with a Masters Degree in Public Health. She served as an R.N. at George Washington Hospital for 12 years before joining the hospital Division of Infectious Diseases as the Clinic Director. She was the first nurse appointed Chair of the Internal Review Board for Clinical Research. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, 9200 Kentsdale Road, Potomac, MD, Saturday, August 1, at 1:00 PM, with a reception following in the church hall. There will be a family inurnment on Nantucket at a later date.
