Theodore Belland Obituary
THEODORE RICHARD BELLAND (Age 93)
Gone to the great drawing board in the sky September 27, 2011. Political cartoonist and performing artist extraordinaire he was also a pilot and found great joy in aviation. He was loved by everyone he knew and will be profoundly missed. Preceded in death by wife Suzanne and son Elliott. Survived by great grandson Everett, grandson Brandon, son Theodore and daughter Margaret many nieces and nephews and throngs of loving friends. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2011, 3 p.m. at Suburban Airport, 520 Brockbridge Rd. Laurel, Maryland. Please donate to The Washington Home and Community Hospice in lieu of flowers.

Mr. Belland was a wonderful, brilliant man, and he will be sorely missed by all who knew him. I feel so lucky to have gotten to know him. Hope his last flight was a good one.
