Of Gloucester, MA, originally from Silver Spring, MD passed away peacefully with his sons by his side, November 30, 2012 of complications from a hard fought battle with cancer. He is survived by his two sons, Grant Philip Wheeler and Braden Ramsay Wheeler, both of Brooklyn, New York; his former wife and mother of his children Anne Wheeler of Myrtle Beach, SC; his sister Laura Wheeler Pettit, nieces Gwyneth and Haley Pettit and Nephew Dylan Pettit. He will be missed by many friends in Maryland and Massachusetts.
Timothy Wheeler was a Marketing Vice President with Medtronic Corporation in Danvers, Mass. He was best known for his love and knowledge of music, collecting albums and attending concerts when his schedule allowed. He enjoyed sailing and was a member of a small sailing group in Gloucester. He had a wonderful eye for photography. It is sad to lose someone so young and he will be sorely missed by his family and friends.
Calling hours and memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, December 8 starting at 3 p.m. at Laura Wheeler Pettit's home, 2600 McKendree Rd., Glenwood, MD. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Tim's name to a .
