VERDA ANNA BROG  
Artist  

On November 6, 2012 of Silver Spring, MD. Loving wife of Colonel (Ret.) USAF David Brog; mother of Kathleen Contic and Tov Brog; grandmother of Shawn and Adam Sizemore; Anthony and Aaron Contic; Eliya and Danielle Brog; and great grandmother of Tara Sizemore. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Mrs. Brog died at home from the lingering effects of several strokes. She was born in Shreveport, LA and lived many years in Europe during her husband's military service. She was a renowned artist. Her work has been shown in numerous exhibits in Germany and throughout the United States, including three one-man shows in Wiesbaden, Germany. One set of her works, "A Louisiana Childhood" has been on display for several years at various art museums throughout Louisiana.
 
Services will be held, 2:30 p.m. Sunday, November 11, 2012, at Danzansky-
Goldberg Chapels, 1170 Rockville Pike, Rockville, MD 20852.
 
In lieu of flowers, Verda may be be remembered and honored with donations to the Air Warrior Courage Foundation, P.O. Box 877, Silver Spring, MD 20918.
