WEISS PAUL THOMAS WEISS (Age 67) Passed away on October 5, 2012 surrounded by his family in his Silver Spring, MD home. He was a loving husband to Roxanne and a devoted father to Mark and Clare. Born in Bismarck, ND, to Hazel Baker Weiss and Earl Paul Weiss, Paul was the seventh of eight children, Joan Fricke, Patricia Drumheller, Earl, Robert, Frederick, Kathryn Bickel and Kerry. Paul earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from the University of North Dakota before serving in the Unites States Army, 25th Infantry Division, from 1968-1970 during the Vietnam War. As a medic he was recognized for his heroism with two Bronze Stars, an Army Commendation Medal for meritorious achievement, and numerous service ribbons and medals. After an honorable discharge, Paul began working for the Federal Government where he had an outstanding career as a Federal Executive. In addition to his loving wife and children, he is survived by his sister, Joan; brothers, Fred (Sandy) and Kerry (Michelle), 21 nieces and nephews, numerous cousins, and many lifelong friends. Services are private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the .
