MANBY WILLARD D. MANBY, JR. (Age 48) On April 12, 2009 of Alexandria, VA. Survivors include his mother, Mary F. Manby; sister Mary E. Manby and her husband Scott Knenlein; and niece Sarah. Inurnment will take place Sunday, April 26 at 3 p.m. at Peace Lutheran Church, 6362 Lincolnia Rd., Alexandria, VA. Contributions in his memory may be made to the Memorial Fund at Peace Lutheran Church or a charity of your choice. www.everlyfuneralhomes.com

I went to high school with Willard. I will always remember him as a friendly, sociable and generous human being. I only very recently became aware of his passing and am very sadden by the news.

I can't count how many times Willard has made me laugh throughout the years. He was a man of great wit, intelligence, and kindness, and he will be sorely missed.
