DUCKETT WILLIAM A. DUCKETT William "Tony" Anthony Duckett of Waynesboro, PA passed, Sunday, January 27, 2013, at Meritus Medical Center surrounded by his family. Born May 22, 1950, in Alexandria, VA, He was the son of Richard G. Duckett and late Frances A. Duckett. Tony spent his many years of employment in the construction industry. Over the years he worked for Alexandria Plumbing and Heating, Stanley Martin Communities, D.R. Horton, Renaissance Builders, Ryan Homes, and Lowes Contracting Services. In his spare time he enjoyed golfing, hunting and fishing. He was an avid Washington Redskins, Nationals, and Capitals fan. He was a member of the Waynesboro Country Club, American Legion, Eagles, Elks, and Moose Lodge. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Sharon Jean Duckett, along with one daughter Wendy R. Duckett; two grandchildren Tyler J. Butler and Cierra N. Butler; his father Richard G. Duckett of Des Moines, IA; four siblings James R. Duckett of Rehoboth, Delaware, Valerie G. Saba of Fredricksburg, VA, Crystal L. Crider of Crofton, MD, and Mary A. Maynard of Fredricksburg, VA; in-laws Patti and Robert Menke of Fayetteville, PA, and Debbie and Andrew Walker of Montgomery Village, MD; Bea Grzesiak of Republic, PA; nine nieces and nephews Brian Crider of Bamburg, Germany, Kasey Crider of Crofton, VA, Russell Maynard of Viera, FL, Bianca Maynard of Fredricksburg, VA, Nicholas Giles-Brown of Vancouver, British Columbia, Sarah Giles-Brown of Vancouver, British Columbia, Alma Brown of Surrey, British Columbia, Brandon Walker of Gaithersburg, MD, and Matthew Walker of Montgomery Village, MD; among many other loving relatives. Celebration of Life Ceremony will be celebrated on Saturday April 13, 2013 at the Fort Richie Community Center, 14421 Lake Royer Drive, Cascade, Maryland 21719 at 4 p.m. Eulogy at 4:15 p.m. Dress is Tony Casual.
