I recently retired from Balfour Beatty. I mostly worked for the Florida Division. I always admired Bill and came to know him as a friend as well as a colleague. You can't find a better person with a generous heart, unyielding determination to win and always helping others succeed. He will be missed by many. Prayers go out to the family for strength during this time of sadness. Know that your husband and dad was loved by many.

Bill and I started out as colleagues at Balfour Beatty and became friends. I came to admire Bill's intellect, collaboration and wit. My last memory of Bill was watching him sit in with a band at another colleague's retirement party and treating us all to a John Mellencamp rendition of Jack and Diane as only he could do. I will miss him - Bruce Dell

Maddie - your dad was always such a warm, kind presence whenever he came into the salon. I know a piece of that wonderful spirit lives in you - it is a gift and a piece of him you will always carry with you.

My Condolences to Bill and his family. He was too young to pass, it's just terrible. We were good friends in high school but separated after that. My God bless him wherever he may be now.

I hadn't seen Bill since high school, but remember him fondly. We worked together at Olney Pizza Hut. He really looks so much the same, sounds like he had a great life. So sorry to hear.
