"Billy"
On Wednesday, May 31, 2012 at his home in Manassas, Virginia, after a battle with lymphoma, Billy passed away surrounded by his loving family, including wife, Anne Hinte; daugter, Holly Hinte; soon to be son-in-law, Ryan Lilly; and nephew, Arin Allen.
Billy was a Union Brother of IATSE Local 22 for over 28 years, working at the Kennedy Center, Ford's Theatre, and Wolf Trap. He began his career as a stage hand for Local 21 in New Jersey and moved on to touring the world with Broadway shows. He eventually settled in Washington, DC and enjoyed spending the last 24 summers working at Wolf Trap.
Billy was a dedicated family man who loved spending his time off fishing or going on vacations with his family. He will always be remembered for his extraordinary work ethic and great sense of humor. His achievements were many and included top positions at Washington's most prestigous venues.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Anne Ballou Hinte; his daughter, Holly Anne Hinte. Also survived by his mother, Dorothy Hinte of Brick Town, New Jersey; his brother, Edward Hinte, also of Brick Town; his sister, Diane Casale of Union, New Jersey; and his brother, Gary Hinte of Maine. He also leaves his buddy Dizzle, the family cat.
