ROCKWELL ANDREW S. ROCKWELL ANDREW ROCKWELL, 59, of Mayo, MD, previously of Shady Side, MD, died on October 24, 2008 at Anne Arundel Medical Center after a brief illness. Andy was born in Chicago, IL to Joanne and Maury Katzenberg who predeceased him. He was raised in New Jersey by his mother and stepfather, John Rockwell. He graduated from Blair Academy in New Jersey, and attended Washington & Jefferson College near Pittsburgh. A natural entrepreneur, he founded and sold his first business "Rockwell Personnel" in New York City, NY. He later pursued a career in the field of security. He became a National Accounts Sales Executive with ADT where he remained until his death. Andy loved building and renovating houses and fishing on his boat "Meant to Be". He was the earliest yard sale attendee on weekends, traveling with his constant companion and best friend, his dog "Molly". Andy loved to entertain his friends and was legendary for his crab feasts - with crabs caught from his own Shady Side pier, his Halloween costume parties and his holiday rib roasts. He will be remembered for his humor, his generosity and high energy, his love of animals, gardening and travel, and his lifelong passion for Chicago sports teams. He is survived by his three loving brothers, David Rockwell of New York City, NY, Samuel Rockwell of Morgan Hill, CA and Alan Rockwell of Shady Side, MD; and his niece Lola; andnephew Sam. There will be a memorial celebration at the Loew's Hotel in Annapolis, MD on November 20, 2008 from 6 to 10 p.m., 126 West Street, Annapolis, MD 20401, 410-263-7777.
