Of Silver Spring, MD died suddenly on March 30, 2011 at his home. He is survived by his loving mother, Sonny Adelson; and four very close sisters, Freddi Adelson (Eric Brodsky), Robin Adelson, Stacy McGuire (Michael) and Shelly Krall (Jim). Bruce was adored by all his nieces and nephews who called him "Unky", Ethan, Lauren, Erin, Ryan, Matt and Sophie. He was preceded in death by his father, Morton J. Adelson.
Bruce graduated from Albert Einstein High School in 1971 and went on to attend the University of Wisconsin in Madison. He became the manager of The Disc Shop in the Mazza Gallery, where he worked for many years fueling his passion for music. Most recently, Bruce worked as a store manager for Giant Food in Germantown, MD.
Bruce enjoyed golfing with his friends and brother-in-laws, going to the beach, and was an avid sports fan; especially the Redskins.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, April 3, at 1 p.m. at Danzansky Memorial Chapel in Rockville, Maryland.
