I served with Greg in the Air Force at the Pentagon. We were on the Chairman of the Joint Chief of Staff staff. Greg was a great officer, hard worker, and a total professional. It was a pleasure serving with him. He will be sorely missed. My condolences to his family of which he spoke so highly of and dearly loved.

My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. I have fond memories of Greg when we younger and visting Easley. May your sweet memories of Greg give you comfort.

All my love,
Ginny (Greg's cousin)

When you get to the end of the road
And the sun has set for me
I want no tears in a gloom-filled room
Why cry for a soul set free?

Miss me a little but not for long
And not with your head bowed low
Remember the love that we once shared
Miss me but let me go.

For this is a journey we all must take
And each must go alone
It's a part of the master plan
A step on the road to home.

When you are lonely and sick of heart
Go to the friend we know
And bury your sorrows in doing good deads

Miss me ..... but let me go.

He Only Takes the Best

God saw you getting tired,
And a cure was not to be.
So he put his arms around you,
And whispered “Come to me”.

With tearful eyes we watched you,
And saw you pass away.
Although we loved you dearly,
We could not make you stay.

A golden heart stopped beating,
Hard working hands to rest.
God broke our hearts
to prove to us,
He only takes the best.
