I am so sorry I never got to know him. Only through Trav's love for him, and recently showing me videos online, did I know him a bit. I am so sorry for all your pain, dear Doug and Nancy and Mary! What a wonderful family you were for him. Love and sympathy, Tricia Griffin

I had the pleasure of teaching Bob several years ago and he was a delight. He was one of the good kids that I will always remember--always smiling with a twinkle in his eye. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Doug,
I was saddened to hear of your son's passing. No parent should have to go through losing a child.
I know that no words can comfort you or bring you peace.
Please know that you and your family are in our prayers.

We're so sorry for your tremendous loss. No parent should ever have to lose their child -- it's a chapter out of sequence and I cannot begin to imagine your grief. It's been ten years since I've seen Bob but the moment Arianna told me of his passing his memorable smile came right up as if I'd seen it only yesterday. Our hearts are with you.

These words of deepest sympathy are sent with the hope that as times goes by, cherished memories will bring you inner peace, and make Bob seem still very close to you. I was fortunate to know Bob as a swimmer at Frostburg State with my daughter Thirza. Bob had the most incredible BLUE eyes and the kindest heart. He was never afraid to offer support to teammates. Bob will always have a special place in our hearts!!!

bob... each day your life was an amazing, selfless journey. such a full life at 20. So many young and older lives that you helped, taught and how you were looked up upon. a true beautiful sincere honest fun adventurous man. i will miss my hugs and "hi aunt patti". but there must be lots of children and friends in heaven that need your abilities more than here on earth. i know you're safe and comforted and still touching and helping others. love you. bob.

Doug and Nancy,
I am so sorry for your loss. I can only say, "May God be with you," as I am sure there is very little that can comfort you at this time.
I never knew that I know Nancy and her parents! Frank was my 8th grade geography teacher and we all went to Darnestown Presbyterian! Please pass on my condolences to them as well.
You all are in my heart and prayers at this time.
