We mourn Scott's passing and miss his presence at the Department of Education where he supplied us with cutting edge technology information and with enlightened perspectives about everything! I still cannot believe the terrible news. His love of music ensures his being evermore.

Scott's untimely passsing is such a shock. He was my colleague at the US Department of Education Library. He was funny, quirky, brilliant, and knowledgeable about technology, literature, and music. He brightened my day whenever he paused at my desk to chat.

My condolences to your family. Scott was my first boyfriend... Way back at B-CC... And I remember him as so kind and funny. He taught me to love Van Morrison's music along with how to make homemade tacos. May you all remember his peaceful countenance as you grieve.

Scott's death is a terrible loss - most of all to him; he had so much more living to do. And to his loved ones - John, Jan, and his - and my - beloved Nona. I am sorry I can't be with you tomorrow. All my thoughts and my heart will be with you.

Nona, John, and Jan,
I am so sad for this news. It has been 15 years since I last saw Scott, but he was a particularly warm and sensitive person, a real pleasure to know. His life was way too short. My deepest sympathies to each of you,
Courtney (Knauth)

I am so saddened to learn of Scott's passing. Scott and I played together as children and he was a kind and gentle friend to me for a while when we were adults. My heart goes out to Nona, John and Jan. May Scott rest easy. Shaunti Knauth
All is bliss! Eternal peace & joy to you my friend.
