ERNEST J. TOLLERSON, JR.  

A World War II veteran who served as an enlisted man in the Pacific theater, a lieutenant during Korea and a colonel in the U.S. Army Reserves died in Washington, D.C., on February 6, 2014 at the age of 87. Mr. Tollerson, a graduate of Howard University, is survived by his former wife, Barbara Rose Gentry Tollerson; his son, Ernest J. Tollerson III, and two grandsons, Kit Waller Tollerson and Cos Bradshaw Tollerson. He was predeceased by his son Rodney Kean Tollerson. Visitation with the family begins at 10 a.m. A funeral mass will be said at 11 a.m., March 7, at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 1514 P Street, NW. Interment at Arlington National Cemetery will take place at a later date.
