Of Centreville, VA, passed away on March 10, 2014 at Emeritus Senior Living of Manassas, VA.
He was born September 17, 1926, in Washington, DC. He was the son of the late Paul N. Johnson and Ressie Lambert Johnson. He was predeceased by his wife, Betty Trees Johnson, in 2004.
He is survived by his four children and their spouses, and three step children. Paul was bless with nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters and three brothers.
Paul served in the US Army Air Corps in Germany from 1945 - 1946, attaining the rank of Sergeant and served in Germany. He worked for the Arlington County Government for over 35 years where he served as Chief of the Printing Division upon his retirement, in 1981.
Paul always had a deep love for family and friends. He had a great love for the Washington Redskins and the Washington Senators onto today's Washington Nationals; and was an avid golfer for over 60 years.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2014, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., at Arlington Funeral Home, 4510 Wilson Blvd, Arlington, VA; with a Memorial Service following at 1 p.m. Interment will take place at a later date.
