ANNA ROSE YOUNG  

On April 1, 2014 at her home in Alexandria, VA. A longtime resident of Alexandria, she taught at William Ramsey Elementary School where she retired in 2012. Anna was a faithful member and Sunday school teacher at Alexandria Free Methodist Church, where she thoroughly enjoyed working with missions, and children, especially during Vacation Bible School. She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Young; and brother, Nunzio DiCola. She is survived by her sister, Theresa Dickson; brother, Marion DiCola; adopted children and grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews; family and friends. A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2014 from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. at Alexandria Free Methodist Church, 4901 Polk Ave., Alexandria, VA 22304. Interment will be held at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alexandria Free Methodist Church for the John Young Memorial India Village Ministry. A guest register may be found at:
