Passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 22, 2014 at Montgomery General Hospital in Olney, Maryland.
Born in Martinsburg, West Virginia on January 22, 1928, he is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Norma Good; two children, Robert Lee Good and Jane Good Warnick (Bob); sister, Linda Lee Ryden (John); two sisters-in-law, Sandra Fontaine (Ron) and Kathy Holloman (Bert); two grandchildren, Karon Petty (Alan) and Kristina Kok (Matthew); and three great- grandchildren, Alec and Collin Petty and Alexia Kok.
Bob graduated from Roosevelt High School in Washington, DC, then served in the U.S. Army Signal Corp as a Staff Sergeant. After his military service, he was employed by Verizon (formerly C&P Telephone Company) for 43 years, retiring in 1989 as an Engineering Manager.
Bob was an avid fan of football and baseball. He also enjoyed gardening and spending his summers in Ocean City, Maryland. He was an active member of the Masons.
The family will receive friends at the Hines-Rinaldi Funeral Home, 11800 New Hampshire Ave., Silver Spring, Maryland on Sunday, May 25. 2014, between 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to .
