On Wednesday, June 4, 2014 of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of Patricia E. Purbaugh; father of Michael J. (Linda) Purbaugh and Cheryl Ann (Howie) Wendt; grandfather of Josh Joyner, Mihail Parascovia, Emma, Christian and Pavel Wendt; brother of Arlene Payne, and the late Charles, Wilma, Donald and Dorlis. He shined his lights on people, so the broadcast world could see- Mother, bishops, presidents and politicians. Eternal rest grant unto him O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him.
