Arlowyne "Ar" Tullar, 91, of Arlington, VA, passed away on June 9, 2014. She is survived by her younger brother, Frances Brown and wife Maria of Miami, FL and her children Edgar Jr. "Dub" and wife Misty of Alexandria, VA Corey of Alexandria, VA, Frank of Arlington, VA and Nola of Pocomoke, MD. She is also survived by her grandchildren Jonathan, Ashleigh, Ryan and Alyssa. She also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews and other family and friends.
She was the beloved daughter of Frank and Ruth Brown of Springfield, IL. She is predeceased by older brother Harold.
Arlowyne started her career at the Watergate Inn in Washington, DC as a bookkeeper. After raising four children she was fortunate to find her perfect job as a bookkeeper for Sheridan, Behm, Eustice and Assoc.
Arlowyne brought light to everyone she met through her quick wit and zest for life. She enjoyed traveling, especially to historical sites and loved watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy.
Everly-Wheatley Funeral Home, 1500 W Braddock Rd, Alexandria, VA is in charge of arrangements. A memorial service will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday, June 13 at 7 p.m.
Donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Her final resting place will be in Springfield, Ill.
