Passed away June 14, 2014 at Mt. Vernon Hospital. He was born in Woodbridge, VA August 4, 1923 to Schuyler L. and Thelma Dawson Jellison. He was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years Catherine V. and daughter Linda L. Jellison, his sister Eunice Schurtz, his brothers Richmond Irving, Donald Lee and Howard Quinton Jellison. He is survived by his two sisters Eula Sheperd and Ellzey and her husband Earl Curtis, sister-in-law Barbara Jellison and several nieces and nephews, one son Harold L. Jellsion, his wife Patricia and family of Beverly Hills. FL, his faithful friends and neighbors, Elena Rojas and family, Juana Garcia and family, Janet Little and family, and Sylvia Ray and family. He proudly served his country in WWII in the European theater and he retired from the Eastern Air Lines as a Mechanic in 1985. A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Everly Wheatley Funeral Home, 1500 W. Braddock Rd. Alexandria, VA, where a service will be held on Friday, June 20 at 12 Noon. Interment will follow at Mt. Comfort Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donation may be made in his name to the American Diabetes Foundation.
