KENNETH M. KIDD (Age 95)
On Thursday, December 8, 2016 of Kensington, MD, departed his family and friends peacefully from his home and went to be with his beloved wife, the late Sally P. Kidd. Father of Gloria (Ron) Ward, Kenneth Kidd and Steven Kidd; grandfather of Rebecca (Jake) Mahoney, William and Rachel; great-grandfather of Mckenzie; son of the late Charles and Alice; brother of the late Morris, Howard, Beulah, Lois, Jimmy, and Martha. Flowers may be sent with the assistance of Hoover-Fisher Florist, located at 16 University Blvd. East, Silver Spring MD (301-593-4700). Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD (Valet Parking) on Monday, December 12, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., where Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December 13 at 11 a.m. Interment Parklawn Memorial Park. Ken, Gloria and Steven I am so sorry. He was such a wonderful Uncle. I always enjoyed the family visits. I am sorry I cannot make it but please stay in touch.

Ken, Gloria and Steven, I know how hard this moment is for you. Your dad was a bright spot in my mom's (Virginia Lockhart) life. His friendly greeting and ready helpfulness was a constant in her life. He would look up from his gardening and wave and have a kind word for me when I came to visit.
I am so sorry we can't be there for the service we are currently out of town. My thoughts and prays are with you all. Gail and Bob Henry
