"Jimbo #1" was always his title, me being Jimbo #2. Jim was without a doubt one of the finest men I have ever encountered. He served this nation as a Marine in the Korean War, and was a proud Patriot, rightfully so. He was the true definition of a "gentlemen", a person who always showed such class and kindness towards all. Some of my greatest memories were with Jim, and the times we shared together in the pageant world. I would have NEVER met my wife without meeting Jim, and for that alone I owe him so much. RIP dear friend....and know that there will not be a week that goes by whereby you will not be remembered by our family, and a prayer of thanksgiving for having the honor of calling you friend, and your love shown to so many. Jim, Chiann & Jim Jr. Gibson.

When you called out Jim's name for help he never failed to step up to the plate as that was just his nature. If you had a problem, it became his problem until it was resolved. The community of heaven will greet him like a long lost friend. May his family and friends find solace in remembering Jim as a great father, grandfather and great-grandfather God rest his soul.

Jim was a caring and kind man. I know he helped many people.I always considered him a first class human being. He was a "safe" person to talk to and was a genuinely good person. My sincere condolences to his family and close friends. His presence in this world will be missed, but he will never be forgotten.
