ELEANOR FRANCES STEWART HARRIS (Age 89)
Departed this life on Thursday, February 9, 2017, at home surrounded by loved ones. Beloved mother and grandmother, treasured friend and esteemed member of Bradley Hills Presbyterian Church. Physics degrees Wellesley (B.A. '49) and Yale (M.S. '52). Dedicated career, C3I, national defense preparedness w/ Booz Allen, ORI & MITRE. Tireless volunteer w/ Learning Ally (RFB&D). Active in Wellesley Club. Lifetime resident Section four. Eleanor was predeceased by adored parents, Ralph B. and Jessica D. Stewart; beloved husband, Ralph B. "Bill" Harris; and cherished brother, Clark B. Stewart. Survived by four loving children, Burt, Andrea Dee, Paul and Meg; their spouses; seven grandchildren, many extended family members and close friends. Public church service 10:30 a.m., Friday, February 24, at Bradley Hills Presbyterian Church, 6601 Bradley Blvd., Bethesda, MD - reception follows. Private interment. In lieu of flowers, consider donation to Learning Ally (Wisconsin Ave., NW or https://supportus.learningally.org/dc17) please note "In memory Eleanor Harris"
