Beloved husband of Teresa Merryman; father of Kristin (Richard) Demma, Johanna, Caitlin, and Matthew Merryman; grandfather of Preston, Aidan and Ronan Demma and Ryan Frye; son of Margaret Merryman; brother of Beverly (Ray) Edwards and Ronald (Sue) Merryman. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Monday, July 24, 2017, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Interment private. Terry, I lost my daughter Jessica 1 year ago today and it seems like time has almost stood still. I know you and your children will continue to feel Alan's love embracing you when you least expect it. His spirit will always be with you.
