Mary M. Sampogna (Age 87)
On Thursday, August 3, 2017, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved wife of Anthony P. Sampogna; mother of Teresa Hughes, Connie Igou, John Sampogna, Barbara Morrison, Christopher Sampogna and the late Paul Sampogna; also survived by 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), on Monday, 7 to 9 p.m. and at Church of the Resurrection at Riderwood Village, 3110 Gracefield Road, Silver Spring, MD, on Tuesday, August 8, beginning at 10:30 a.m. where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Peggy was a bridesmaid in my wedding in 1950 just before she went on the Holy Year Tour. We worked together at the phone company and always had a lot of fun. My condolences to your family.
