Mary Davis Obituary

DAVIS MARY BRUCE CRAUN DAVIS Of Herndon, VA passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at INOVA Cameron Glen Nursing Home. She was born on September 19, 1927 in Orange, VA. Her family moved to Adams Street in NW, Washington, DC, where she resided most of her life until moving to Herndon in 1991. She retired as a receptionist at the Dominican House of Studies. She is preceded in death by two husbands Bernard M. Beach and James Davis; her sister Phyllis Craun Reynolds; and a nephew Stephen Reynolds. She is survived by her brother Douglas Ray Craun and his wife Cornelia; her son Gary M. Beach and his wife Elizabeth; two grandchildren Brian M. Beach and Elizabeth M.C. Beach; and other relatives and friends. Family and friends will be received at the ADAMS-GREEN FUNERAL HOME in Herndon, VA from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on April 29, 2009. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Thomas a''Becket Catholic Church in Reston, VA at 10:30 a.m. on April 30, 2009. Interment will follow at Walker''s United Methodist Church Cemetery in Madison, VA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Capital Hospice, 6565 Arlington Boulevard, Suite 500, Fairfax, VA 22042.
