ODOM JAMES THOMAS ODOM (Age 68) Of Woodbridge, VA passed away April 23, 2010. He was the husband of Anita Odom. Mr. Odom was a U. S. Army veteran of Desert Storm/Desert Shield and retired as Chief Warrant Officer 4 with more than 30 years service. He was Past Master of Alt Heidelberg Masonic Lodge No. 821 A.F. & A.M. Mr. Odom was born in Norfolk, VA February 5, 1942, a son of the late Lewis W. and Mary E. Odom. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Lisa Koren and her husband Terry of Fredericksburg; son, Lewis Odom of Frederick, MD, brother Glenn Odom and his wife, Carol, of Corpus Christi, TX; sister Patricia Mitchell and husband, Bill, of Virginia Beach, VA; two grandchildren, Kyle Dosier of Richmond, VA and Taylor Dosier of Fredericksburg, VA; and one great grandson, Chase Howell of Fredericksburg, VA. A memorial service will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, May 1, 2010 at Mountcastle Life Celebration Home, 4143 Dale Blvd., Dale City, VA. Inurnment will be at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice and the . Special thanks to Dr. Coleman, Evelyn, and Faye of Hospice and Harleen and Diane of Fairfax Oncology who took such good care of Jim during his battle. Jim''s Credo was, "I was a soldier, I am a soldier and I will always be a soldier."
