OTIS D. WILSON, JR. (Age 90)
The family of Otis D. Wilson, Jr., sadly announces his peaceful death on Friday, October 15, 2010. He leaves to cherish his memory his nieces Jean (Midge) Berrier, Nancy Marie Carothers, and Nancy Clay Anderson; his nephews Thomas Watkins and John Anderson. He is also survived by his adopted sons Michael and Wayne Sinclair.
Otis was born in the Clarendon area of Arlington County; after graduating from high school he went to George Washington University, where he was the President of the International Club. After receiving his B.A., he went on to become a distinguished civil servant with the National Security Agency for over 30 years, obtaining the position of Deputy Comptroller.
Friends may call to Murphy Funeral Home of Arlington, 4510 Wilson Blvd, on Tuesday October 19 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at First Presbyterian Church of Arlington, 601 N. Vermont St., on Wednesday October 20 at 1:30 pm. Interment Columbia Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army, 615 Slates Lane, Alexandria, VA 22314. The family wishes to acknowledge, with gratitude, the loyal, consistent, and untiring assistance of Emil Kabba and Daniel Begzew, as well as the continual care of physician Christian LeFevre, M.D.
