Passed away at home in Arlington, VA on January 18, 2011 of a heart attack. A good man, Phil is survived by his devoted wife, Erin Devine and beloved children, Kathleen (23), Patrick (21) and Caroline (16); dear sisters, Patricia Walsh (Brian) and Ellen Wawryzniak (Frank), and brother, Michael (Kathleen). He was preceded in death by his parents, Eleanor and Philip J. Keating. Also survived by Erin's mother, Eileen Devine and her nine siblings, 27 nieces and nephews. Phil's aunt; three uncles and many cousins. Remembered fondly by his many friends. Visitation will be held Friday, January 21 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 4510 Wilson Blvd., Arlington, VA 22203. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, January 22, 11:30 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 3304 Washington Blvd., Arlington, VA 22201. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Philip M. Keating Fund For the Future, Arlington Community Foundation, 818 No. Quincy St., Arlington, VA 22203.
