My beloved son. There are no words to convey how much I miss you or how much i still feel the pain of losing you. But, I thank God every day for the gift of your 44 years. Oh how I wish there could have been more. But, he gifted me with your niece, Naje, born the evening of the day you went home to be with The Lord. So, I say rest in peace my son. I will see you again.

Dear Blocker Family. William aka Blocker or Brotherman to me was a very loving person. I have known Brotherman since 1980. He made you laugh and he made you cry. He will be greatly missed but remembered in spirit by that smile & good deeds to all people. To know him is to love him. God Bless his family and may you find peace among all understandings.

Dear Sister Maxine (Brother Kenneth):

"Grace be unto you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God" (2 Corinthians 2-4).

I was saddened to hear of the passing of your son. I pray that God will strenghten you during this difficult time. Whatever your need is God is able and will supply it because He is your faithful Father, Who loves you unconditionally.

Christ's love and mine

To William Blocker's Mother (Mrs. Burnett), Sisters, Brothers, Family, Love Ones, and Friends:

Blocker (the name he went by at VA) will truly be missed. I had the pleasure of knowing and working with Blocker for the whole entire time he worked at VA. He always took out the time to greet you and talk with you especially when you needed someone to talk to. He was not only a friend but also a mentor and a brother to me. And I will never forget the times he took out of his busy schedule to teach us (VA members), Bible Study during his lunch hour while at the VA. He loved God and was dedicated in teaching God's words and was always pleasant, kind, and funny. He had a loving heart for helping others and putting a smile on your face. Although no words of sympathy can ease the loss of your son, brother, etc, just know that Blocker no longer has to suffer any more pain, he is now at peace with God, and he lives on in your hearts as well as all who loved him. Be assured that you had a wonderful, loving, and caring son, brother, etc, and he was loved by all of us at VA. I will truly miss him especially our friendly talks but I know he is well with the Lord. And may God continues to Bless you and give you the comfort, strength, and love that you need at this time.

God Bless, Love,

Mr& Mrs Mahdee Sabir

Dear Blocker family,
Please accept my sincere condolences in the loss of your son, brother and dear friend. When our dear loved ones die, it truly pains us and we need comfort in these times. A scripture that I found truly loving is found at 1 Corinthians 1:3,4 which states in part that "God is the god of comfort."
